Maui’s endearing popularity is her uncanny ability to dazzle and soothe the spirit at the same time. Miles of pristine beaches, interesting villages, verdant lush rainforests, countless waterfalls and the grassy ranchlands of Upcountry, Maui has it all.

Vacationers to Maui have unlimited choices on activities. The biggest groups of humpback whales (about 3000) come to breed in the warm waters around Maui every winter before heading back to Alaska. You can whale watch from most hotels on Kaanapali Beach or go on a whale watching excursion. For a surreal experience drive up to Haleakala Crater, where you will feel like you are on the moon. Haleakala is the world’s largest dormant volcano, last erupting in 1790. It’s cold and windy at the top and a spectacular place to watch the sunrise. The road to Hana is another not to miss activity while you are staying on Maui. It is a 52 mile two lane road with over 200 hairpin turns crossing more than 5- bridges that hug the rainforested eastern coastline.
